Quantrivance

Our servers go down. Your EAs don’t.

Your strategies never wait on the network. What keeps working during an outage, and what pauses until we are back.

Designed to be left out

Every service goes down sometimes. The question is what breaks when it does. We built Quantrivance so that the answer is: nothing in your trading.

Your EAs run in your MT5 terminal and talk to your broker. They do not know Quantrivance exists. The Agent sits beside them on its own chart and sends reports out; nothing your EAs do passes through it, and nothing they do waits for an answer from us.

What keeps working

  • Your EAs, trading as usual, opening and closing trades with your broker.
  • Guard. The Agent keeps its own copy of your limits in the terminal and checks them every second. It does not need our servers to act, so it still stops an account at your limit during an outage.
  • The Agent itself. If a report cannot get through, it keeps the data and tries again on the next round, without slowing your terminal.
  • Your MT5 terminal and your broker's statements, which are always the record that counts.

What pauses

  • New figures on your dashboard. Nothing new arrives until we are back.
  • The kill-switch. A kill is sent through our servers, so you cannot send one until the site is back. Guard does not have this limit, which is why it exists.
  • Alerts. Telegram messages are sent by our servers too, so an outage delays them.

When we are back, the Agent catches up on its own. Your deal history is complete: the Agent remembers the last deal it sent, so every trade closed during the outage arrives afterwards and your results add up. The minute-by-minute equity chart may have a gap: readings taken while no report could get through are not sent later. Your NAV and drawdown pick up from the next reading.

What does need to stay on

There is one thing an outage of ours cannot cover: an outage of yours. If your PC or VPS is off, or MT5 is closed, nothing runs in it:

  • your EAs do not trade,
  • the Agent does not report,
  • Guard does not watch, and no kill can arrive.

That is why we suggest running MT5 on a machine that stays on, such as a Windows VPS, and setting a Telegram alert for when an Agent goes silent. It is the fastest way to find out that a terminal has stopped, whatever the reason.

Monitoring that stays out of the way

The Agent reports once a minute and never touches how your EAs trade. Connect an account and see it for yourself: connect your first MT5 account takes about ten minutes.
